Pre-Production Plan (P3)
This advertising schedule includes the types of advertising that we want to do, describes what it is going to include and then shows the month that we want to run it in.
We have decided to start our advertising a year before our movie releases so that we can have a period of time where the main character stops posting things on twitter. This is in the hope that people following the account will wonder why they haven't seen any tweets from it in months before being surprised or worried because it starts up again and is more distressed than before.
It also means that we can make use of Halloween twice during our advertising and create a clear contrast between them because the main character has spent a year being tormented by the Umbra Hominis.
The following are the mind maps that we created for our trailer and Spotify adverts. We created them before we decided what we were going to do for each of them. This is so that we can refer back to them as we create them and maintain a consistent message throughout our advertising campaign.
